As of late, I have spent some time asking people a question that is difficult to answer; however, we need to spend more time thinking about it.
“What are you best at?”
We only have one life to live, and we most likely only have one talent or genius. Why go through life not exploring it? Possibly this talent may not be that easy to find or accept. I grew up not realizing what my exact gift was. As I have gotten older, I have allowed myself to realize it, and now there is nothing I want to do more than share my passion.
My gift is that I genuinely care about people. I want them to hold a high standard for themselves and reach levels they did not think were possible. I want to be the hero in people’s stories; I want to go deep and figure out the why’s and how’s of people and help them live lives that they didn’t think they could have.
What is your genius? What can you spend hours doing without feeling drained or tired?
Give yourself some time to identify this. The truth is you owe it to the world to find this out. Tomorrow you may be dead; don’t live life without knowing your genius and potential.
